You’ve heard of the Amazon rainforest, Christ the Redeemer and Brazilian waxes. But perhaps you don’t know about the wonders of Brazilian slate.

When choosing natural stone tiles or slabs for your project, this is a great type of slate to consider. With its winning combination of strength and aesthetic appeal, it’s perfect for use in all sorts of interior design projects.

Brazil is the world’s second largest exporter of this material, which is primarily quarried from Papagaios in Minas Gerais, whose economy is heavily reliant on this material. It’s estimated that Minas Gerais, which is in the South East of Brazil, extracts 95 percent of Brazil’s slate.

Whether you’re creating hearths, flagstones, window and wall coping or worktops, our slate slabs are ideal.

Among our range at Brazilistone are slate hearths, flagstones and large slabs which enable you to get creative. Whatever your plans for the interior or exterior of your property, we can provide Brazilian slabs in a variety of sizes.

Regularly used for kitchen worktops, this material ages well and requires little maintenance.

As Brazilian slate specialists, we’re always happy to offer advice on any of our products, which can be delivered anywhere in the UK.
