All our Brazilian slate tiles are sourced from quarries in Brazil, a country that’s the second biggest suppliers of slate in the world. It’s estimated that 95% of Brazil’s slate is extracted from the Minas Gerais region. Located around 450km north of Rio de Janeiro, this area is rich in varied geology.

Everything is always sourced responsibly and shipped to our site in Oxfordshire.
